Amarnath urges Telugu investors to take part in AP growth story

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Minister for IT and Industries Gudivada Amarnath appealed Telugu industrialists at Hyderabad to invest in Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada also. He was the chief guest at hmtv Business Excellence Awards 2022 held at HICC Novotel Hotel on Saturday. Addressing the gathering, he urged the industrialists here to take part in the growth story of AP.
He hailed the media house for presenting unbiased content without any political agenda behind it, and asked the management to conduct the awards ceremony at least every alternate year in AP also as several recipients hail from their region. He further said, "Discipline is the most important factor for the success of any business and all the awardees are role models for the budding entrepreneurs."
Speaking to Bizz Buzz, Amarnath said: "We are inviting the Telugu investors from here specifically because they have a connection with AP. As we all Telugus have together built the city of Hyderabad to reach this position. After bifurcation of the erstwhile State, we lost this beautiful city. If not at the same level, we wish the Telugu investors here to play a major role in building the new capital of AP as well."
When asked about the aid from the State government, the Industries minister assured to provide all necessary support to the investors so that they face no hurdles. "Unlike the previous governments, we are not announcing specific subsidies or concessions on land allocations. But, our government is ready to clear all the problems of investors who take up the responsibility to set up their businesses in AP."
On the same occasion, another chief guest Telangana Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan said that the country is witnessing the most cordial situation in business activities with the government initiatives like Make in India and Startup India. She appreciated the wide variety of awards. She insisted for two or three special awards for the best women entrepreneurs from next year, in place of one this year.
Bollineni Bhaskar Rao, Chairman and Managing Director of KIMS Group of Hospitals, won the Lifetime Achievement Award. After receiving the award, he said: "I got this award because of the efforts of our 12,000 employees. I believe in forgetting good feedback and remembering the negative ones to rectify them. This culture made us grow."
CMR Family Mall – Telangana MD Allaka Satyanarayana said that he was encouraged to work with double enthusiasm after receiving the Best Textile Store award in the retail category. Sravani Hospitals CEO Sravani Chettupalli bagged the Best Women Entrepreneur of the Year, while Suchir India Executive Director Roopali Kiron took the Young Entrepreneur of the Year award.
